| A. | | The Lex Group handles all aspects of formatting. Please forward the electronic version of your unformatted Petition/Brief to us. Our paralegals will perfect the formatting in accordance to the Rules.

| A. | | Yes, unless your client is proceeding in forma pauperis. We strongly recommend that you proceed with the application process as soon as possible. The admission to the Bar can take some time.

| Q. | | What is the fee for admission to the Bar and certificate bearing the seal of the Court? |
| A. | | It is $100.00. The fee for a duplicate certificate is $15.00. The fee for a certificate in good standing is $10.00.

| A. | | The filing fee is $300.00. The filing fee is waived for all cases proceeding in forma pauperis. The Lex Group will provide the filing fee check upon request. The filing fee will then be reflected in your invoice.

| Q. | | Does the due date for the Petition for Writ of Certiorari run from the issuance of the mandate? |
| A. | | NO. The due date is calculated from the date the judgment or order sought to be reviewed. If a petition for rehearing is timely filed, the time to file the Petition for Writ runs from the date of the denial of the petition for rehearing, or if the rehearing is granted, from the subsequent entry of judgment.

| Q. | | What is the page limitation for a Petition for Writ of Certiorari? |
| A. | | The page limitation is 30 pages for Writs unless you are proceeding in forma pauperis. The page limitation is 40 pages for those proceeding in forma pauperis.

| Q. | | Can my signature page drop to page thirty-one? |
| A. | | No text may fall on the 31st page, however, your signature line with firm name and address may appear on the 31st pages. A previously granted Motion for Extension of Page Limitation is the only means by which the text may be extended beyond the thirty page limitation.

| Q. | | Is an Appendix required along with the Writ of Cert.; and if so, what are the mandatory inclusions? |
| A. | | The mandatory inclusions for Appendices filed in booklet format are all relevant opinions, orders, findings of facts, and conclusions of law. If applicable, the order regarding rehearing is a mandated inclusion. Other documents may also be included depending on the nature of the Petition. For IFP Appendices, only the Final Order and the Order Denying Rehearing are required.

| A. | | The Lex Group requests that Appendix documents be forwarded as soon as possible although most appendices can be prepared in a matter of days. Complex documents and/or documents which are not available electronically may require additional time for preparation.

| A. | | We would like your final petition the day before filing. This time is necessary due to the complex formatting, amount of duplication and binding and the final cutting process. We can take Petitions proceeding in forma pauperis on the day of filing.

| A. | | The Lex Group will not only hand file the petition and serve stamped copies on all counsel, we also prepare the affidavit of filing and service. In addition we will call, email or fax you to confirm filing.
