Q. Does the Lex Group guarantee court acceptance?
A. Yes. We guarantee court acceptance of all documents filed in all U.S. Courts of Appeals.

Q. What are the Lex Group's services in regard to joint appendices and record extracts/excerpts?
A. We handle all aspects of appendix preparation. Joint appendices and record extracts/excerpts are assembled according to FRAP and Local/Circuit Rule specifications. After counsel forwards the documents for the Appendix, we verify that all mandated inclusions are present, arrange the documents in the mandated order, paginate, type set the cover, create a detailed table of contents and chesire bind the finalized product. An advanced copy is forwarded via overnight delivery for your approval.

Q. What is the Lex Group's timeline for joint appendices and record extracts/excerpts?
A. All appendices and record extracts/excerpts under 1000 pages are prepared in 24 hours. Larger filings may require more time for table of contents creation, pagination and duplication.

Q. What services does the Lex Group offer for brief preparation?
A. We first review the brief for compliance with the rules and for any formatting inconsistencies. Counsel is immediately contacted to discuss any issues discovered. We then type set the cover, generate the tables of contents and Blue Book compliant table of authorities as well as the certificates of compliance and service.

Q. How does the Lex Group file briefs and appendices?
A. Filings to the Fourth Circuit, Federal Circuit and DC Circuit Courts of Appeals are made by hand delivery. Filing with other Courts is preformed by UPS Overnight Delivery and are considered timely filed as dispatched to the third party courier (FRAP 25(a)(2)(B)(ii).

Q. Does the Lex Group perform service?
A. Yes. Unless otherwise directed, we serve all counsel of record by either UPS ground transportation.

Q. Can counsel proceed to the United States Supreme Court without filing a Petition for Rehearing or Rehearing En Banc at the circuit court level?
A. Absolutely. Petitions for Writ of Certiorari are due 90 days from the filing of the circuit court judgment where no Petition for Rehearing has been filed.
